My story started as a child who would love to help mom in the kitchen. Being an only child with a stay at home mom and a father who was in the Marine Corps, it was away to be creative with different recipes. Through the years of moving around, I would love to bake for family in friends. In 2017, I had an opportunity to buy what was Diva’s sweet treats Cupcakery. Wanting to make it my own, I changed the name to Marti’s Cupcakes & More.
My family has been by my side to help on days that it’s needed. I would enjoy the time to spending one-on-one time with my children. Being a single mom, and with my oldest at 4 and my youngest 11, they are a priority. Through the 7 years I have been able to open up kitchen to Met School Students (26), Launched Beginnings, and many other organizations to help individual looking for work experience in baking.
